Connie Ho-Yi Law

Connie Ho-Yi Law was awarded with the Licentiate and Associate of Trinity College London in Piano Performance. She was admitted at Hong Kong Institute of Education with a Master degree of Music Education, with special interests in Piano Performance and Pedagogy. Also she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree at Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
With her rich experience in accompaning individuals and in concerts, she was appointed to be the piano accompaniment teacher in concerts organised by the Yip’s Children’s Choral and Performing Arts Centre and worked as music tutor in Parsons Music Limited. Now she teaches in Hong Kong Professional Piano Education Academy and in her private studio.
As an active musician and pedagogue, Connie participates in music solo and chamber music and has been teaching for more than six years. She is experienced in teaching students of all ages from preliminary to performance level. Many of her students achieved merits and distinctions in graded exams and won prizes in competitions. Her recent appearance was to collaborate with Er-hu master Professor Wang Guo-tong as a pianist in a concert held in Jockey Club Auditorium, The PolyU. Recently, Connie has won the first prize in piano romantic class in Hong Kong Youth Barclampory Music Festival 2014.
Connie took her first music lessons at the age of five, and later she further studied with Wing-Chong Kam and Debra Wong in Hong Kong.
